Community Health Impacts From Natural Gas Pipeline Compressor Stations

The Environmental Justice team has published their paper in the November 2023 issue of GeoHealth! Over the past two years, the EJ team has reviewed available literature on the negative human health impacts of compressor stations used along natural gas pipelines. They conclude that poor data quality from infrequent monitoring is contributing to underestimation of cumulative health impacts in communities local to compressor stations.
